Making Them Truly Yours

New Apartments from Developers

Receiving the standard developer’s floor plan is just the starting point!
No two people are alike—so why should their homes be? Some people want open-concept kitchens with a large island, while others prefer a concealed kitchen layout. Some require extra storage in their bedroom, while others prioritize space for a king-size bed…A customized plan ensures that even a standard developer’s apartment will become a unique reflection of your personal vision.

Small Changes – Big Improvements in Quality of Life

A lovely couple of empty nesters approached me with a developer’s floor plan for their 86-square-meter apartment, following an urban renewal (evacuation-reconstruction) project.
Their requests were clear: a larger kitchen, a living room furniture layout without a TV, a TV room/guest room in the secure space (Mamad), a shared home office, and most importantly— STORAGE, STORAGE, STORAGE!
They got all of this—and so much more!

Key Transformations

(1) Expanded kitchen with ample counters.
(2) Repositioned the sofa to create a more open and inviting space.
(3) Designed a daily-use dining area—perfect for the couple plus one or two grandkids.
(4) By the entrance: a folding console table that transforms into a dining table for 12 guests, ideal for family gatherings and entertaining
(5) Relocated the laundry area out of the bathroom—improving both functionality and aesthetics.
(6) Doubled the wardrobe space in the master bedroom.
(7) Added two utility closets in the hallway for linens, cleaning supplies, vacuum, etc.
(8) Created a luxurious master bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.

Vacation Apartment for the Extended Family

A couple in their sixties purchased a 120-square-meter vacation apartment from a developer for their extended family and wanted to tailor it to their needs.
They felt the kitchen was too small, the TV placement significantly reduced the public space, the master bathroom entrance was visible from the living room , and they also  hoped they could get  an additional bathroom.
The new design addressed all of these issues and even prepared the space for valuable modifications after obtaining the occupancy permit (Form 4):

  •  An additional bathroom

  •  Repurposing the laundry alcove into a functional service area connected to the apartment.

Key Changes

(1) Added a large island to the kitchen—serving as both extra storage/workspace and a daily dining area for four.
(2) Mounted the TV on a rotating column, allowing for a more suitable sofa placement and viewing from both the island and the couch.
(3) Installed an expandable console table that transforms into a 12-person dining table for family gatherings and entertaining.
(4) Relocated the entrance to the master bathroom, ensuring privacy from both the living room and the bedroom.
(5) Created a spacious “walk-in” shower, designed to accommodate a bench installation if needed in the future.
(6) Doubled the size of the vanity unit in the main bathroom (post-Form 4 modifications)
(7) Prepared the infrastructure to convert the designated laundry room into an additional bathroom (post-Form 4 modifications).

(8) Opened up the covered laundry alcove, transforming it into a dedicated laundry & utility space (post-Form 4 modifications).
